Using Substance Designer, I created a dense grass ground material that aims to strike a balance between realism and stylization.
The focus of this project was to build a rich and organic grass surface by combining different grass shapes, subtle color variations, and small clusters of vegetation. Rather than pursuing complete photorealism, I wanted to create a surface that feels natural while maintaining clear and visually appealing forms. Finding the right balance between density, variation, and readability was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the process. I hope you enjoy it!
